Labour Day Celebration

Labours in India refers to the employment in this economy of India. The main problem faced by Indian workers today are poor quality of employment insufficient and uncertain income and poor working conditions. The working conditions in factories are often harsh. Hours are long , working conditions are frequently unsafe & led to deadly accidents , low wages and unhygienic working condition etc.
In India people started observing the day form May 1923 after the labour kisan party of Hindustan initiated & comrade Singaravelar helmed the celebrations. Today , may day is observed as holiday in the state of assam, Goa, Jharkhand , Kerala , Karnataka , Tripura , Bihar , Manipur , Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
